Video Journalism Intern

Attlas Wire is a premium digital news platform operating across India and the UAE , covering global affairs, politics, business, economics, technology, geopolitics, and breaking developments.

We are looking for a Video Journalism Intern who is passionate about journalism, current affairs, storytelling, and digital media, and wants to gain hands-on experience inside a modern, AI-enabled newsroom .

This is an opportunity to work on real stories, contribute to published content, and learn how professional digital journalism moves from news discovery and verification to scripting, production and distribution .

What You’ll Do

- Research, develop and pitch stories for digital video
- Track breaking news, emerging developments and global trends
- Conduct detailed online research and fact-check information before publication
- Assist in producing news videos, explainers, interviews, reels and short-form journalism
- Write and refine video scripts, headlines, hooks and story narratives
- Assist with storyboarding, visual planning and production
- Support journalists and producers with interviews and remote/on-ground reporting
- Identify relevant visuals, footage and supporting information for stories
- Create content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and other digital platforms
- Monitor audience trends and understand what makes news content engaging
- Work closely with the editorial and production teams
- Explore the use of AI tools in journalism, research, video production and newsroom workflows
- Contribute ideas that improve Attlas Wire’s storytelling and digital presence

What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in journalism, current affairs, politics, global affairs and world news
- Excellent research, writing and communication skills
- Ability to distinguish credible information from misinformation




- Curiosity, critical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to write clear, concise and engaging news scripts
- Good understanding of social media and digital content trends
- Basic knowledge of video editing tools is an advantage
- Comfortable appearing on camera or assisting with video reporting
- Willingness to learn, experiment and work in a fast-paced newsroom environment
- Students, recent graduates, freshers and aspiring journalists are encouraged to apply
