Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer / Application Engineer with experience in developing, testing, and integrating software applications for Industrial Automation Systems. The candidate should have strong knowledge of VB.NET/.NET, C#, SQL Server, and preferably machine vision technologies such as Cognex VisionPro.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Windows-based applications using VB.NET / C# and .NET Framework.
- Develop customized software solutions for industrial automation and machine inspection systems.
- Integrate software applications with PLC, robotic systems, cameras, sensors, and other automation equipment.
- Develop and maintain database applications using MS SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and data management.
- Work with Cognex VisionPro or other machine vision libraries for automated inspection applications.
- Develop applications for camera-based inspection and quality control systems.
- Perform complete software testing, including functional, integration, performance, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot software, database, communication, and system integration issues.
- Optimize application performance and ensure reliable operation within defined machine cycle times.
- Prepare technical documentation, application manuals, test reports, and system specifications.
- Coordinate with Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Production, and Quality teams during application development and commissioning.




- Provide support during machine installation, commissioning, testing, and production deployment.

Required Skills

- Robust programming knowledge in VB.NET and/or C#.
- Good understanding of .NET Framework / .NET development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database connectivity.
- Experience in Windows desktop application development.
- Knowledge of OOP concepts, debugging, exception handling, and software development life cycle.
- Experience in software testing and system integration.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and automation integration will be an advantage.
- Experience with Cognex VisionPro / Machine Vision will be preferred.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in Industrial Automation / Manufacturing / Machine Vision / Inspection Systems.
- Experience developing applications for robotic inspection systems.
- Experience integrating software with PLC, robots, cameras, sensors, and automation controllers.
- Exposure to high-speed inspection applications and cycle-time optimization.

Qualification B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, or a related technical discipline.
