Hiring: Medical Information & Pharmacovigilance Associate
Location: Begumpet, Hyderabad
Work Mode: 100% Work from Office
Shift: Fixed Night Shift (EST Time Zone)
Experience: 6 Months – 1.5 Years
About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic Pharmacovigilance professionals to join our growing Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) team.
This role is ideal for early-career professionals with a background in Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety, case processing, or safety triage who are looking to expand their experience in medical information and global drug safety operations.
You will interact with US-based healthcare professionals and patients, handle medical inquiries, identify and document adverse events, and support regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and document medical inquiries, Adverse Events (AEs), and Product Quality Complaints (PQCs) received through calls, emails, and digital platforms.
- Review and capture the required information for safety reporting and ensure accurate documentation.
- Provide scientifically accurate and non-promotional responses to standard medical inquiries using approved FAQs and product information.
- Support safety documentation and data entry into relevant databases.
- Follow SOPs, client requirements, SLAs,
HIPAA data privacy requirements, and applicable pharmacovigilance processes.
- Escalate complex medical inquiries and high-priority safety cases to the appropriate medical affairs or quality teams within the required timelines.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate handling of cases.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm), Pharm.D, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
- 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety, case processing, safety triage, or clinical data management.
- Basic understanding of MedDRA coding, ICSR workflows, and global PV regulations.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a contact center workplace, handling calls and emails from a global audience.
- Good active listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
