Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Chennai.

The Mechanical

Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and systems, prepare detailed CAD models and drawings, and support machine design from concept through production. Daily responsibilities include performing engineering calculations, participating in R&D; activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and assisting in prototype testing and validation. The role also involves contributing to project planning, monitoring progress, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality, safety, and performance standards.

The Mechanical

Engineer will work closely with supervisors and clients to troubleshoot issues,



implement improvements, and document technical findings.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge, including fundamentals of mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and practical experience with component and system-level design.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed technical drawings.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating engineering tasks.
- Candidates should possess experience in Research and Development (R&D;), including testing, analysis, and implementation of new solutions.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with industry standards, basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, and capability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to work collaboratively in office in Chennai are highly valued.
