Role Description The Mathematics Teacher at Micro Bugs will deliver engaging online lessons to students in grades 4–12 and beyond, focusing on core concepts, problem-solving skills, and exam preparation. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting remote tutoring sessions, designing lesson plans aligned with diverse curricula, assigning and reviewing practice work, and providing constructive feedback to support student progress.



The teacher will use digital tools and interactive methods to explain mathematical concepts clearly, adapt instruction to individual learning needs, and track performance over time.

Collaboration with the academic team to refine teaching materials, share best practices, and maintain high instructional standards is also expected. This is a part time, remote role with flexible scheduling based on student demand.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach a range of topics and levels.
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, preferably across multiple curricula (e.g., IGCSE, IB, AP, US K–12).
- Background as a Qualified Teacher or equivalent teaching/tutoring experience in mathematics.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, student-friendly manner.
- Comfort with online teaching platforms, digital tools, and remote instructional methods.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse learners, support exam preparation, and adapt to different learning styles.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in online tutoring or edtech environments is an advantage.
- Payment will be 230-350 per hour on experience basis
