Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Math Teacher role based at the Jorhat Centre, with work closely coordinated from the Guwahati hub.

The Math

Teacher will deliver engaging mathematics lessons for school and competitive examination preparation, following the institute’s curriculum and academic standards. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom teaching, doubt clearing sessions, and regular assessment of student performance through tests and assignments. The role involves coordinating with other faculty members, participating in school-integrated projects,



and providing individual academic support and mentoring to students.

The teacher will also contribute to curriculum improvement, exam strategy sessions, and parent communication, as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach concepts clearly across different grade levels.
- Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for school and competitive exam preparation.
- Recognized as a Qualified Teacher, with effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Academic qualification: M.Sc + B.Ed in Mathematics or related field, or B.Tech with strong Mathematics background; experience teaching JEE Mains will be a significant advantage.

- Previous teaching or coaching experience in a school, coaching institute, or test-prep environment, preferably in mathematics.
- Ability to use modern teaching methods and basic educational technology (smart classroom tools, online resources, and digital test platforms).
- Strong communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to explain complex topics in a simple, structured way.
- Commitment to student success, a collaborative mindset, and readiness to work on-site in Jorhat with coordination from Guwahati.
