About the Role

Responsible for ensuring timely procurement of electronic components and production materials to support uninterrupted manufacturing and customer deliveries.

Responsibilities

- Procure electronic components, PCBs, mechanical parts, consumables, and packaging materials.
- Review MRP requirements and raise/manage purchase orders based on production demand.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve overdue/critical materials.
- Discuss MOQ, lead times, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Manage supplier performance, shortages, allocation constraints, and long-lead-time components.
- Coordinate with Planning, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Finance teams.
- Support NPI, engineering changes, alternate-source development, and BOM changes.
- Monitor procurement KPIs including delivery, supplier performance, and material availability.





Qualifications

- 4–8 years of procurement experience, preferably in EMS/electronics manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing materials.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Robust negotiation, analytical, communication, and supplier-management skills.
- Ability to handle critical shortages and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
