1. Business Development & Customer Acquisition

Generate new B2B business through prospecting, customer visits, enquiries, technical discussions, and conversion of leads into orders.

2. Existing Customer Management

Build customer relationships, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, address concerns, and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams.

3. Technical & Manufacturing Understanding

Understand engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, fits, surface finishes, and manufacturing feasibility. Working knowledge of CNC, VMC, Turning, Milling, Hobbing, hardening, and anodising.

4. Sample & Current Product Development

Coordinate sample development from enquiry to approval, ensure requirements are met, follow up for feedback, and convert approved samples into regular orders.

5. RFQ, Pricing & Costing:

Manage RFQs, quotations, costing, pricing, margins, and delivery schedules, along with commercial negotiations, in coordination with the Engineering, Production, and Costing teams.

6. Sales Cycle Management:

Manage the complete sales cycle:



prospecting → enquiry/RFQ → technical evaluation → costing → quotation → negotiation → sample approval → order closure. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and timely follow-up.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Technical Sales: Strong B2B technical sales/business development experience in precision machining or manufacturing.

- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and commercial skills.

- Customer & Team Coordination: Strong relationship management and coordination with Customers, Engineering, production, and Quality. R&D; and Commercial teams.

- Business Orientation: Result-oriented approach with a focus on enquiry generation, conversion, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.

- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively for customer meetings and business development.

Experience

- Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years in technical marketing, technical sales, industrial sales, or business development.

- Preferred Background: Experience in manufacturing, precision machining, CNC/VMC, or engineering components; B2B industrial/custom manufacturing experience preferred.
