- Understanding of HSE software tools like Phast, Phast Risk, PHA, Flare sim, Sound plan, Pipe net etc. and their applications.
- Knowledge of international standards, specifications and codes e.g. NFPA, API, IEC, IP, BSI and ISO procedures and standards.

Job Responsibilities

- Finalize requirements for HSE Studies such as FHA, QRA, Bow-tie, SIL, F&G; Detectors Mapping, HFE, EIA, Noise Study, RAM, etc. and review and implement recommendations in detailed design.
- Organize and participate in project safety reviews HAZID, HAZOP, BOWTIE, HFE, ALARP, SIL, etc.
- Perform Fire Protection System Design (including hydraulic calculations for fire water network, preparation of P&IDs;, Datasheets of FW Tanks, Pumps, Fire suppression system, etc.)
- Preparation of F&G; system design, Passive Fire Proofing (PFP)



and Hazardous Area Classification (HAC)
- Supervise and provide guidance in the preparation and evaluation of Plot Plans
- Review contract requirements for project execution, identify Scope of Work and develop Manpower Plan
- Responsible for management and control of the job executed in the group
- Assignment of Sr. Engineer/ Engineer/ Designer and preparation of organization for the project
- Ensure that all work performed complies fully with all applicable codes, regulations etc., as well as company design standards & client requirements or in other words, design control.
- Review Inquiry Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations and ensure procurement according to project specifications and within budgeted cost.
- Ensure that all the Health, Safety and Environment related requirements, as given in Project Contract documents, are fulfilled during the engineering.
- Coordinate with other functional departments for implementing HSE related requirements.
- Resolve all HSE related issues / queries raised during project execution.
- Report to the Management on overall performance of HSE in the projects
