We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Infrastructure Specialist to manage, support, and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure and mainframe automation solutions. The role involves planning, developing, delivering, and supporting highly reliable IT services that align with business requirements.

Locations: Hyderabad / Bengaluru / Chennai / Pune / Noida The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in IBM z/OS, Mainframe Automation, IBM System Automation, AF Operator, REXX, PL/I, and NetView/NetView automation .

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support IBM z/OS mainframe infrastructure , applications, and automation solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe automation processes to improve system availability and operational efficiency.
- Work extensively with IBM System Automation (SA) for automated startup, shutdown, monitoring, recovery, and dependency management.
- Use NetView/NetView automation and AF Operator for mainframe monitoring and operational activities.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using REXX .
- Develop, troubleshoot, and support applications/programs using PL/I .
- Support mainframe integration with enterprise infrastructure, applications, and communication services.
- Prepare and support new or changed IT services , including change, release, and implementation activities.
- Monitor system and service performance and identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement.
- Participate in incident, problem, change, risk, and contingency management activities.
- Support regulatory, legal, security,



and qualified standards applicable to IT infrastructure.
- Work with internal teams, vendors, and outsourced service providers to ensure service availability and performance.
- Prepare service-level reports , operational metrics, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root-cause analysis and permanent resolutions.
- Participate in on-call/production support activities as required.

Required Skills
- 9–12 years of experience in Mainframe Infrastructure / Mainframe Operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM z/OS .
- Proficiency in IBM System Automation (SA) .
- Strong knowledge of Mainframe Automation concepts and implementation.
- Experience with NetView / NetView Automation .
- Hands-on experience with AF Operator .
- Strong REXX scripting/programming skills.
- Good working knowledge of PL/I .
- Experience with Mainframe Integration and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and production-support capabilities.
- Understanding of ITIL/service management processes, change management, risk management, and service-level reporting.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with high-availability and automated recovery environments.
- Knowledge of mainframe monitoring and event-management solutions.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise production environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
