Role Description The Legal Researcher – POSH Inquiry Support is a full-time, hybrid role based in Gurgaon, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the individual will conduct in-depth legal research on the PoSH Act, POCSO Act, and related workplace laws, and prepare concise research notes, case law summaries, and opinion briefs to support internal committees and investigators.

The role involves assisting with inquiry documentation, drafting notices, reports, and recommendations, and ensuring alignment with legal standards and organizational policies.

Researcher will collaborate with trainers, consultants, and external committee members to support investigations, compliance reviews, and training content, while maintaining strict confidentiality and sensitivity in all matters. The position also includes monitoring legal updates, contributing to knowledge repositories, and supporting the development of tools and resources that enhance workplace safety and compliance.

Qualifications

- Strong legal research and analytical skills, with a focus on labor law, PoSH Act, POCSO Act, and related regulations.
- Proficiency in legal drafting and documentation, including notices, reports, case summaries, and structured inquiry records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts clearly and neutrally.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and sensitivity when handling confidential information and workplace complaints.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple cases or research tasks effectively.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) or a closely related discipline; prior experience in compliance, workplace investigations, or HR legal support is an advantage.
- Familiarity with training or consulting environments, and comfort with using digital tools and platforms for research and documentation.
