About the Role

Amasia Solar is looking for a hands-on Lead Technical Project & Service Engineer to lead the technical execution of rooftop, C&I; and ground-mounted solar EPC projects.

The role will work across pre-sales engineering, project execution, commissioning, inverter troubleshooting and post-installation service , while supporting the sales team on technically complex and high-value opportunities.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in solar EPC, power electronics, inverter diagnostics and field commissioning .

Key Responsibilities

Solar EPC Project Execution

- Conduct site feasibility assessments, shadow analysis, roof-load checks and cable-route planning.
- Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), BOMs, string-sizing calculations and structural layouts .
- Supervise MMS installation, DC/AC cable laying, DCDB/ACDB installation, earthing and lightning-protection systems.
- Conduct pre-commissioning tests including insulation resistance, string Voc/Isc and earth-resistance testing.
- Coordinate grid synchronization, net-metering documentation and DISCOM/CEIG inspections.

Pre-Sales Technical Support

- Support sales teams during technical discussions with EPC contractors, commercial clients and industrial customers.
- Prepare and explain techno-commercial system designs and technical proposals.
- Evaluate inverter sizing, DC ratios,



system performance and energy-generation assumptions.
- Support the design of hybrid/BESS, zero-export and solar pumping solutions based on customer load profiles.
- Address technical objections and provide engineering recommendations to support deal closure.

Inverter Service & Troubleshooting

- Diagnose and resolve issues involving on-grid and hybrid solar inverters.
- Troubleshoot grid faults, insulation faults, MPPT issues, communication failures and firmware/hardware-related errors.
- Work with RS485, Wi-Fi and remote monitoring/SCADA systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and site inspections.
- Perform thermal inspections, IV-curve testing and Performance Ratio (PR) analysis.
- Coordinate warranty claims, component replacement and root-cause analysis with OEMs.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience in solar EPC project execution, commissioning and power-electronics troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of on-grid and hybrid inverter systems.
- Knowledge of BMS, grid-tie protection, remote monitoring and SCADA/IoT systems .
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst / HelioScope and MS Excel .
- Knowledge of solar electrical design,



SLD preparation, BOM preparation and system sizing.
- Understanding of relevant Indian solar standards, grid-interconnection requirements, net-metering processes and electrical safety requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Field Requirements
- Willingness to travel across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for project execution, commissioning and service requirements.
- Valid driving licence and access to a personal two-wheeler/four-wheeler required.
- Comfortable working at project sites and handling emergency technical service requirements.

Compensation & Benefits Fixed CTC: ₹4,50,000 – ₹7,00,000 per annum, based on experience and technical capability.
