We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimise the organisation’s systems.

Security

Job Responsibilities

- Implement, configure, and monitor firewall policies to ensure secure access.

- Deploy and manage endpoint security solutions (antivirus, EDR).

- Provide technical assistance to users for desktops, laptops, applications, and peripherals.

Data & Domain Management

- Manage and secure domain controllers, ensuring proper authentication, replication, and GPO policies.

- Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, routing, switching, and WLAN infrastructure.

- Perform installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting of physical servers, with strong proficiency in RAID configuration and management.

- Manage and maintain VMware virtualization platforms, including provisioning, migration, and performance monitoring.

Admin

- Administer Windows Server environments, including installation, patching, and troubleshooting.

- Support data center activities including monitoring, capacity planning, backup, and recovery.

- Manage and monitor data backups using Veeam and native platform tools; ensure reliable recovery.

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux environments, ensuring performance and stability.

Scripting And Integration

- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including diagrams of database infrastructure.

- Support cloud infrastructure operations and hybrid integrations.

- Develop scripts in PowerShell, Python,



or Batch to automate routine tasks.

Compliance

- Ensure ISO compliance and maintain accurate IT asset and software inventory records.

- Administer Office 365 services; support Google Workspace as an added advantage.

Job Skills/Competencies/Experience

- Strong experience in VMware virtualisation.

- Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Domain Controller management.

- Hands-on expertise with Linux systems administration.

- Robust networking skills (VLANs, routing, WLAN, firewall configuration).

- Proficiency in server hardware and RAID management.

- Knowledge of endpoint protection and Veeam backup solutions.

- Knowledge on Infrastructure automation tool such as Ansible Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS preferred).

- Experience on Mobile Device Management

- Proficiency in Office 365 administration; Google Workspace knowledge is a plus.

- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Batch).

- Awareness of ISO compliance and IT governance standards.

- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Technology Stack

- VMware: VMware Certified Professional/Associate

- Microsoft: Windows Server Administrator, MCSA, MCSP

- Red Hat: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or equivalent certification on Linux platform

- Cisco: Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification on Networking

- AWS: Associate or AWS DevOps Certification
