The Role

Vivriti Next Limited (VNL) is hiring a seasoned Senior Special Situations professional to Originate, structure and sell non-vanilla credit opportunities (like pre-IPO financing, stressed asset funding, M&A; financing etc.). This role is part of the Capital Markets leadership team and reports directly to the Head of Capital Markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Originate and structure and sell non-vanilla credit opportunities -like pre-IPO financing, stressed asset funding, M&A; financing et al.
- Build relationships with promoters, CFOs, market intermediaries, and investors.




- Collaborate closely with the Credit and Risk teams on transaction structuring and preparation of investor collaterals
- Drive the end-to-end placement process, including investor pitching, pricing negotiations, and documentation.
- Track trends on special situation deal flow in the market, recent deals, active investors in the space.
- Work closely with internal teams (Legal for transaction documentation and Operations for deal closure)

Mandatory attributes-

- Education: CA / CFA / MBA from a reputed B-school; 10–15 years in Special Situation Asset origination and structuring.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of Debt instruments (NCDs, structured credit); Credit risk and structuring, proficiency in price and yield calculation.
- Regulatory knowledge: In-depth understanding of the regulatory framework (RBI, SEBI, Companies Act, listing norms).
- Track record: Proven success in origination of special situation Fixed Income product and structuring
- Leadership: Ability to independently lead meetings with CIOs, Fund Managers, Business Heads
- Network access: Established relationships with special situations funds, ARCs, and family offices are an added advantage.
- Relevant Experience: Advisory background in special situations from a Big 4 or established advisory firm, or experience with an ARC.
