About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead - Testing SME to lead testing activities across projects, ensure product quality, and drivetesting best practices. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise inmanual and automated testing, test management, stakeholder coordination, andquality assurance processes. Experience in the Insurance domain ishighly preferred.

Juinagar, Navi Mumbai

Experience

5-8+ years of IT experience, with significant experience in software testing and test leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects and releases.
- Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test execution approaches.
- Manage test teams and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, developers, BA, and project managers to ensure quality deliverables.
- Review and validate business requirements, functional specifications,



and test scenarios.
- Oversee test case design, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Identify testing risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Drive test automation initiatives and promote best practices in quality engineering.
- Ensure adherence to organizational testing standards and quality processes.
- Track, monitor, and communicate testing progress, metrics, and quality status to stakeholders.
- Participate in release planning, UAT support activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong experience in:
- Functional Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression Testing
- Defect Management
- Test Planning and Test Execution
- Test Metrics and Reporting

- Experience leading testing teams in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
- Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the Insurance domain (Life, Health, General, or Property & Casualty Insurance) is highly preferred.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of API testing and integration testing.
- Exposure to performance and non-functional testing.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is an added advantage.
