Role & responsibilities:

- Understand business problems from an analytical and statistical standpoint and define clear problem statements.
- Identify data requirements and perform exploratory data analysis to discover trends and patterns.
- Pre-process structured and unstructured data for modelling.
- Build, evaluate, and improve predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams for product enhancement.
- Identify statistical techniques to improve data engineering and model-building processes.
- Conduct independent research to improve machine learning model performance.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Master's in Statistics / Mathematics / Operations Research / Economics, or Bachelor's in Engineering,



or MBA in Business Analytics / Data Science.
- 5-8 years of work experience in the BFSI domain.

Tech Stack:

- Python (must-have)
- PySpark, SQL (preferred)
- Solid applied statistics, mathematics, and algebra skills.
- Machine learning algorithms including supervised and unsupervised ML, neural networks, deep learning, and time-series forecasting.

Other requirements:

- Research-oriented mindset with the ability to conduct independent research and validate findings.
- Solid communication and presentation skills.
