The Key Account Manager – India is responsible for driving the sales of specialty products (base oils, insulating oils) produced or distributed by * within the chemical and tyre and Lube markets. This role demands a strategic and hands-on leader who can manage customer relationships, ensure credit compliance, and contribute to the growth and operational efficiency of the India sales office.

nSales & Market Development

- Achieve sales targets in terms of revenue and volume.

- Expand market share among existing and potential customers.
n
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor strategies.
n
- Develop and maintain a robust market inventory including prospects, volumes, and pricing levels.
n
nCustomer & Credit Management
n
n
- Serve as the primary legal representative for India in customer dealings.
n
- Establish and monitor customer credit limits in coordination with central bookkeeping and Coface.
n
- Ensure outstanding credit per customer does not exceed the limits.
n
- Actively manage customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
n
nOperational & Financial Oversight

- Collaborate with sales and administrative staff to maintain an productive office organization.
n
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses.
n
- Contribute to managing fixed cost budgets and maintaining quality systems (TQM).
n
- Support the team in maintaining a well-functioning sales office.

nLeadership & Collaboration
n

- Supervise and support the work of Sales Administrator, Sales Assistant.
n
- Act as a reference person for global applications upon request from Competence Transfer.
n
- Ensure alignment with company's vision and mission.
