We are looking for a Junior MEP Design Engineer – Fresher who wants to develop a strong practical foundation in MEP design and gain exposure to real-world projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in preparing MEP drawings and design submissions.
2. Learn and develop HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting system designs.
3. Work with AutoCAD and other MEP software.
4. Coordinate with architects, engineers and site teams.
5. Participate in client meetings and site visits.
6. Support senior engineers on ongoing projects.
7. Assist in MEP training activities.
8. Prepare and present MEP topics studied during training to other engineers or technical team members whenever required by the company.
9. Independently research, prepare and clearly explain assigned MEP topics.
10. Participate in workshops and webinars.
11. Support marketing and business development activities.
12. Help maintain AWA Teknik’s LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook pages.
13. During training, make daily calls to students, architects and colleges to promote MEP training programs and company services.
14. Complete a minimum of 5 architect outreach calls every working day during training.
15. Submit daily work reports to the Project Coordinator and Director.

STRUCTURED TRAINING – FIRST 2 MONTHS
1. No salary will be provided during the first 2 months.
2. Training covers MEP fundamentals, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, software, self-learning and independent research.
3. Exposure to live projects and site visits will be provided.
4. Practical learning will be conducted under experienced engineers.
5. Candidates must prepare and present MEP topics studied during training to other engineers whenever required.
6. Candidates must independently study, research, prepare and explain assigned MEP topics.
7. Understanding of MEP concepts and ability to communicate them clearly will form part of the training/performance assessment.
8. Mandatory outreach activities form part of training.
9. Minimum 5 architect outreach calls are required every working day.

Candidates may demonstrate understanding through discussions, presentations, practical exercises or other assessments.

Training is expected to be completed successfully within 2 months. Extension may be considered based on performance and progress. PAID CONTRACT PERIOD – REMAINING 10 MONTHSAfter successful completion of training:
1. Months 1–3: ₹7,000/month
2. Months 4–6: ₹8,000/month
3. Months 7–10: ₹9,000/month

IMPORTANT: SALARY IS PERFORMANCE-BASEDThe above salary structure is subject to satisfactory performance and successful continuation. Performance will be assessed based on:
1. Technical performance
2. Quality and accuracy of work
3. Attendance and discipline
4. Meeting assigned timelines
5. Willingness to learn
6. Communication and coordination
7. Understanding and presentation of MEP concepts
8. Completion of assigned responsibilities
9. Participation in training and technical presentations
10. Overall professional conduct

Salary progression should therefore not be considered automatic irrespective of performance. PERFORMANCE & EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATEPerformance and professional conduct will be assessed throughout training and employment.

The experience certificate will accurately reflect the candidate's professional association and performance, subject to applicable company policy and law.

Candidates demonstrating satisfactory performance, discipline, attendance, learning ability, technical competence and professional conduct will have their experience documented accordingly.

Where there are significant performance issues, excessive/unauthorized leave, consistently poor work quality, non-performance, failure to complete responsibilities, repeated failure to meet training requirements or other serious issues, the company may record the employment/performance accordingly in the experience documentation, subject to applicable company policy and law.

An experience certificate is therefore not simply a confirmation of attendance; it is intended to accurately reflect the candidate's professional association and performance.

CONTRACT COMMITMENT & TERMS

1. Minimum 1-year engagement is required.
2. Training, employment, notice and reimbursement conditions will form part of the employment agreement.
3. Candidates must be from Kerala and able to commute daily to Palarivattom.
4. This is a full-time, on-site role; no WFH/remote option.
5. Accommodation is not provided.
6. Working hours: 8:45 AM–5:15 PM, Monday–Saturday.
7. Candidates must bring their own laptop.
8. Site visits are required.
9. Minimum 2 months' notice is mandatory.
10. Training expenses are subject to reimbursement if the contractual commitment is not completed, as specified in the employment agreement.
11. If the required notice is not served, applicable training expenses and other amounts specified in the agreement may be recoverable.
12. Maximum 1 leave per month.
13. Excess leave may be unpaid and may extend the training/contract period.
14. Performance, attendance, discipline and conduct will be considered throughout employment.
15. Candidates may be required to present MEP topics covered during training to other engineers.

Candidates are expected to actively participate in training and complete technical and non-technical responsibilities.

PARENT/GUARDIAN CONSENT – FRESHERSSelected freshers must provide a parent/guardian consent letter confirming that they have read and understood the job structure, training period, compensation, working hours, location, contract commitment, notice period, leave policy and other terms and conditions. This is intended to ensure that both the candidate and family understand the commitment before joining and avoid misunderstandings later.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
2. Building Services/MEP interest preferred.
3. AutoCAD knowledge is mandatory.
4. Revit MEP knowledge preferred.
5. Freshers are welcome.
