About the Role

We are looking for a confident, customer-focused and well-presented Jewellery Consultant to join our retail team. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, providing personalised jewellery recommendations, handling sales, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Understand customer preferences, requirements and budget.
- Recommend suitable jewellery based on the customer's occasion, style and preferences.
- Explain jewellery designs, gemstones, diamonds, gold quality, craftsmanship and pricing clearly.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and keep updated with new collections and products.
- Achieve individual and store-level sales targets.
- Generate sales through walk-in customers, follow-ups and client relationships.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Follow up with customers regarding enquiries, quotations, orders and future requirements.
- Handle customer queries, objections and negotiations professionally.
- Coordinate with the store, accounts and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing.
- Ensure accurate billing, documentation and customer information.
- Maintain proper presentation and display of jewellery as per company standards.
- Follow all company SOPs, policies, security procedures and grooming standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
- Participate in store activities, exhibitions, events and promotional campaigns when required.





Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and convincing abilities.

- Valuable negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend products accordingly.
- Basic knowledge of jewellery, diamonds and precious metals is preferred.
- Good English and Hindi communication; Marathi will be an advantage.
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and CRM/POS software.
- Ability to work under sales targets and in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate / HSC or equivalent.
- 14 years of experience in jewellery, luxury retail, fashion, premium retail or sales preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication and a strong interest in jewellery sales may also be considered.
