About The Role The Associate Architect - Java at Quantiphi is a pivotal role responsible for designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise-level Java applications. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Java application modernization, API integration, and cloud architecture, particularly within AWS environments.

The role involves engaging directly with clients to understand their technical requirements, providing consultation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

The Associate

Architect will oversee project activities, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, contribute to complex projects, and influence the technical direction of client solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Java development and application modernization. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is required; a master's degree is preferred. Candidates should have proven expertise in developing enterprise web applications using J2EE, Spring Boot,



and REST/SOAP APIs.

Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, including AWS services, CLI, SDKs, and architecture best practices, is essential. Familiarity with modern DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, and JFrog, along with experience in automated code modernization tools like AWS Transform Custom (ATX), will be advantageous. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, database management (SQL and NoSQL), and agile development methodologies is necessary.

Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to lead technical teams are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Engage with clients to gather project requirements, provide technical consultation, and oversee project execution from initiation to close-out reviews.
- Support the design, development, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise Java applications, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry standards.
- Manage customer expectations and demands to maximize satisfaction, maintaining high quality standards throughout project lifecycles.
- Negotiate project scope, resources, and infrastructure requirements with clients, and prepare detailed technical documentation.
- Supervise coordination between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery of solutions.
- Analyze project data for accuracy and set clear project targets and priorities, providing mentorship and training to junior team members.
- Stay updated with current industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually improve service standards and delivery quality.
- Review client technical demands,



offering guidance on optimal implementation strategies, and ensuring effective use and maintenance of delivered solutions.
- Research new technological advancements and incorporate innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
- Perform technical duties related to architecture, coding, testing, and deployment, ensuring APIs are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
- Ensure adherence to best coding practices, optimize application performance, and facilitate seamless integration across different system layers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve bugs, and improve overall system reliability.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate progress to stakeholders clearly and proactively.
