Role & responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure Management

- Manage servers, desktops, laptops, printers, network equipment and other IT assets.
- Maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet connectivity and office network infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability and performance of critical IT systems.
- Manage hardware procurement, installation, configuration and lifecycle management.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.

2. ERP & Business Application Management

- Administer and monitor the company's ERP and business applications.
- Coordinate with ERP developers/vendors for customization, troubleshooting and current module implementation.
- Understand business processes across Finance, HR, Purchase, Stores, Sales, CRM, Projects, Production and other departments.
- Ensure data integrity, user access controls and smooth integration between business applications.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.

SRVs' ERP environment currently includes modules such as MIS, Financial Accounting, Stores, Vehicle Management, Payroll, Purchase, Sales/Dispatch, CRM, Project Activity Management, CCTV, Biometric, Fixed Assets and Document Management. 3. Cybersecurity & Data Protection

- Implement and monitor IT security policies.
- Protect company systems against malware, ransomware, unauthorized access and data loss.
- Manage antivirus/endpoint security, firewalls, access controls and security monitoring.
- Conduct periodic vulnerability checks and security audits.
- Establish appropriate password, user-access and data-security policies.
- Ensure regular backup of critical business data and periodic restoration testing.

4. IT Support & User Management

- Provide timely IT support to employees and project/site teams.
- Manage user accounts, email IDs, access rights and permissions.
- Establish an effective IT helpdesk/ticketing process.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and application-related issues.
- Train employees on ERP, cybersecurity and IT best practices.

5. CCTV, GPS, Biometric & Digital Systems





- Manage and monitor CCTV surveillance systems.
- Maintain biometric attendance systems.
- Coordinate GPS/vehicle tracking technology and related software.
- Ensure availability of supporting hardware, connectivity and data.
- Coordinate with vendors for installation, AMC and troubleshooting.

6. Cloud & Digital Transformation

- Manage cloud-based applications, storage and collaboration platforms where applicable.
- Evaluate emerging technologies such as cloud computing, AI, automation, analytics and business intelligence.
- Identify opportunities to digitize operational and project processes.
- Support management with technology-driven MIS and dashboards.

7. IT Vendor & AMC Management

- Manage IT vendors, software providers, hardware suppliers and AMC partners.
- Evaluate quotations and technical proposals.
- Monitor vendor SLA and service quality.
- Negotiate service contracts and ensure cost-effective IT procurement.

8. IT Policy, Compliance & Documentation

- Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs and security procedures.
- Maintain records of IT assets, licenses, warranties and AMC contracts.
- Ensure software licensing compliance.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for network architecture, systems and applications.
- Support internal/external audits related to IT systems.

9. Project & Site IT Support

- Provide IT infrastructure support for solar project offices and remote sites.
- Coordinate internet connectivity, networking, CCTV, communication and IT equipment at project locations.
- Support secure connectivity between corporate office and project sites.
- Ensure business continuity for critical project operations.

10. Management Reporting

- Prepare periodic IT performance reports for management.
- Report on IT incidents, system uptime, cybersecurity events, backups and infrastructure status.
- Recommend technology investments based on business requirements and ROI.

Preferred candidate profile The ideal candidate should be a hands-on IT professional and manager capable of independently managing infrastructure, ERP, cybersecurity, users, vendors and technology projects.
