Role Overview

Seeking a visionary and hands-on Head of IT to lead digital transformation and oversee technical infrastructure. The candidate must possess deep functional expertise in core SAP modules and proven experience executing end-to-end enterprise SAP implementations. This leader will bridge manufacturing operations—across heavy engineering, structural fabrication, foundries, and project divisions—with contemporary IT infrastructure, robust network security, and enterprise software ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary IT team consisting of software coders, business process gatherers, hardware technicians, and SAP implementation consultants to ensure timely project delivery

· SAP ERP Management & Implementation:

o Lead end-to-end implementation, system optimization, and user adoption of SAP core modules: Production Planning (PP), Materials Management / Purchasing (MM), Sales & Distribution / Marketing (SD), and Plant Maintenance (PM).

o Translate heavy manufacturing, casting, and multi-unit engineering workflows into streamlined SAP processes.

· Network & IT Infrastructure Security:

o Build, secure, and maintain enterprise network architectures across multiple plant locations and head office setups.

o Establish cybersecurity protocols, firewall controls, access policies, backup systems,



and disaster recovery strategies.

· Hardware & IT Asset Management:

o Oversee lifetime management of IT assets—including servers, laptops, and network peripherals.

o Manage procurement, vendor relations, service level agreements (SLAs), and licensing compliance across all hardware/software.

· Hands-on MS Capabilities & Operations:

o Apply hands-on advanced Microsoft ecosystem skills (MS Excel, Grafana/ Power BI, SharePoint, and Admin tools) for operational reporting, dashboard creation, and data analytics.

o Formulate annual IT budgets, track capital/operational expenditures, and align technology investments with business growth.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

· Education: B.E. / B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, Mechanical, or MCA. (SAP Certification is a plus).

· Overall Experience: Minimum 15 years in enterprise IT leadership, preferably within heavy manufacturing, engineering, foundries, or EPC sectors.

· SAP Mastery: Proven hands-on exposure to SAP implementation, system rollout, integration, and module tuning (PP, MM/Purchase, SD/Marketing, PM).

· Technical Depth: Practical understanding of network security tools, server infrastructure (cloud/on-premise), enterprise data protection, and IT asset lifecycles.

· Analytical & MS Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and data integration tools.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
