About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Investment Research Analyst with robust hands-on experience in fundamental research, company analysis, financial modeling, valuation and market research. The ideal candidate should be able to analyze companies, industries and investment opportunities, develop financial forecasts and provide well-supported investment insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct fundamental research and analysis of companies, industries and investment opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements, business models, operating metrics and company performance.
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts and valuation models.
- Perform DCF, Comparable Company and other valuation analyses.
- Conduct industry, sector, competitor and market research.
- Monitor company earnings, corporate announcements, economic developments and market trends.
- Develop and maintain investment theses based on fundamental research.
- Analyze financial ratios, valuation multiples, growth drivers and business risks.
- Prepare investment research reports, company profiles, research notes and presentations.
- Track portfolio companies and key investment performance indicators where applicable.
- Identify investment opportunities, risks, catalysts and key business drivers.
- Support senior research professionals and investment teams with timely research and analysis.
- Maintain research databases and ensure accuracy of financial and market data.




- Present research findings and investment insights to internal stakeholders.

Key Software Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Refinitiv, PitchBook, LSEG Workspace, Power BI; experience with other financial research and market-data platforms will also be considered.

Financial & Technical Knowledge

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- CFA, MBA Finance, CA or candidates pursuing CFA/CA preferred.
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in Investment Research, Investment Analysis, Equity Research, Financial Analysis or Asset Management.
- Strong hands-on experience in financial modeling, company analysis and valuation.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and fundamental analysis.
- Experience conducting industry and market research preferred.
- Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate complex financial analysis clearly and effectively.
