n Interior Designer / Project Architect – Chennai

n n We are looking for an experienced and execution-focused Interior Designer / Project Architect who can take complete responsibility for residential and commercial interior projects — from understanding the client’s requirements and developing the design to preparing working drawings, BOQs and coordinating execution at site.

n n Key Responsibilities

n n Meet clients, understand their requirements, budget and design preferences.

n Conduct site visits, measurements and site assessments.

n Develop space plans, concepts, mood boards and design proposals.

n Prepare detailed 2D drawings, floor plans, elevations and sections.

n Create skilled 3D models and photorealistic renders.

n Prepare detailed working drawings that can be directly used by contractors and site teams.

n Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, storage units and custom furniture.

n Prepare electrical, lighting, false-ceiling, flooring and basic plumbing layouts.

n Prepare BOQs, quantity estimates and material specifications.

n Assist in project cost estimation and quotation preparation.

n Design projects according to the client’s approved budget while maintaining aesthetics and functionality.

n Coordinate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, civil teams, vendors and other contractors.

n Visit project sites and ensure execution is carried out according to approved designs and drawings.

n Identify execution issues and provide practical design/site solutions.

n Conduct quality checks, snagging and support final project handover.

n Coordinate with vendors and compare quotations, materials and specifications.

n Handle multiple residential and commercial projects simultaneously.

n n Software Skills – Required

n n Candidates should be proficient in:

n n AutoCAD

n SketchUp

n Enscape and/or V-Ray

n Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets





n n Knowledge of the following will be an added advantage:

n n Revit / BIM

n Lumion

n 3ds Max

n Adobe Photoshop / presentation software

n n Technical Knowledge Required

n n The candidate should have good practical knowledge of:

n Residential and commercial interior design

n n The candidate should have:

n n Strong design sense and creativity

n Strong technical and execution knowledge

n Ability to develop unique designs based on individual client requirements

n Good understanding of project budgets and costing

n Good client presentation and communication skills

n Ability to coordinate contractors and site teams

n Problem-solving ability at project sites

n Willingness to travel to project sites as required
