Role Description The Insurance Advisor role at LIC is a part-time position based in Lucknow, with a hybrid work model allowing some tasks to be completed from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding client needs, explaining LIC’s insurance and investment products, and recommending suitable plans to support financial protection and wealth creation.

The Insurance

Advisor will conduct client meetings, follow up on leads, assist with proposal forms and documentation, and support policy issuance and servicing. The role also involves maintaining relationships with policyholders,



handling basic queries and claims-related guidance, and participating in local marketing or outreach activities to expand the client base. Advisors are expected to adhere to regulatory and organizational guidelines while meeting sales and service objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge or interest in Insurance and basic Finance concepts to guide clients on suitable policies and plans.
- Ability to provide informed Consulting and advisory support, including analyzing client needs and suggesting appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills for managing client relationships, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive service experience.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain products clearly and build trust with diverse clients.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a part-time, hybrid environment.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use online tools for policy information, documentation, and reporting.
- Minimum education at higher secondary level; graduation in any discipline is an advantage.
- Prior experience in sales, financial services, or advisory roles is beneficial but not mandatory; fresh applicants with solid interpersonal skills are encouraged.
