Role Description The Lean Consultant is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for driving lean management and operational excellence initiatives within client MSME organizations. This role involves assessing current processes, identifying waste and improvement opportunities, and designing practical solutions aligned with lean principles.

The Lean

Consultant will facilitate workshops, coach client teams, and support implementation of standardized processes, performance metrics, and continuous improvement practices. The position includes preparing reports and presentations, collaborating with client leadership to align improvements with strategic goals, and ensuring knowledge transfer so that client teams can sustain gains.



The consultant will also coordinate with other DVBC service lines to integrate lean projects into broader business transformation efforts.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Lean Management and Operational Excellence, with hands-on experience applying these concepts in organizational settings.
- Candidates should possess skills in Consulting and Management Consulting, including client engagement, diagnostic assessments, and solution design.
- Candidates should possess Coaching skills, with the ability to guide teams, facilitate change, and build internal capabilities for continuous improvement.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in process mapping, root cause analysis, and basic data analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations, or a related field; advanced certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies are an advantage.
- Prior experience working with MSME or small to mid-sized organizations, preferably in consulting or operations-focused roles.
- Strong organizational skills, adaptability to dynamic client environments, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
