Job Summary The HR Generalist will majorly responsible for managing payroll, statutory compliance, attendance, and day-to-day HR operations in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will also contribute to end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, compliance with employee/labour laws, worker handling, maintaining employee records, payroll processing, and fostering a positive work environment through team-building and cultural initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Compliance:

- Maintain compliance with labor laws, Factories Act, ESI, and Provident Fund regulations.
- Liaise with government bodies for labor and statutory audits and inspections.
- Coordinate statutory audits and maintain compliance records as per required timelines
- Handle day-to-day interactions and grievances of shop-floor and factory workers.

Attendance & Payroll:

- Manage HR documentation, employee records,



and HRMS
- Maintain employee leave records and prepare monthly salary and reports.
- Monitor daily attendance and manage biometric systems.
- Assist in accurate payroll inputs, increment cycle and timely salary processing.
- Support in implementation a performance review and management system to enable systematic appraisals
- Support in preparation of monthly MIS reports and review with management.

Employee Engagement:

- Establish and implement orientation and induction programs to get employees equipped for their duties.
- Plan and organize festivities, celebrations, and team-building activities.
- Promote a healthy work culture and employee motivation at all levels.

Recruitment & Onboarding:

- Develop technical and non-technical job descriptions and adverts and post on social channels such as LinkedIn to source potential candidate.
- Support in managing job postings on various platforms and coordinate recruitment drives.
- Screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and shortlist candidates.
- Coordinate the onboarding, induction, and orientation programs for new hires.
- Support recruitment process including requirement mapping, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, salary negotiations, and closing

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate, specialization in HR, IR or related field.
- 3 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing company.
- Hands-on experience in payroll and statutory compliance.
