About the Role

We are looking for experienced HSE professionals to join our Ground Mount Solar Division in Chhattisgarh. The role will be responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant and accident-free work environment across solar project sites.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in HSE/Safety management within Solar EPC, Power, Infrastructure or Construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor the Project HSE Plan and company safety policies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, client and project-specific HSE requirements.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, HSE audits and risk assessments.
- Implement JSA, Risk Assessment, Method Statements and Permit-to-Work systems.
- Conduct Safety Induction, Toolbox Talks, Safety Training and Awareness Programs.
- Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices at project sites.
- Ensure safety during piling, excavation, civil works, MMS installation, electrical works, lifting activities and work at height.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor HSE compliance.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure timely closure of safety observations and corrective/preventive actions.
- Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records and statutory documentation.
- Conduct emergency preparedness activities and mock drills.
- Monitor housekeeping, waste management and environmental compliance.
- Coordinate with Project, Construction, Quality, Contractors, Consultants and Client teams on HSE matters.

Additional Responsibilities – Manager HSE
- Lead the overall HSE function for the assigned Ground Mount Solar project.




- Manage and guide HSE Engineers/Safety Officers and site safety teams.
- Establish a strong Zero Harm / Safety First culture across the project.
- Monitor HSE KPIs and prepare periodic reports for management.
- Conduct internal and external HSE audits.
- Ensure timely implementation and closure of corrective actions.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants regarding HSE requirements.
- Take immediate action in case of unsafe work conditions.

Additional Responsibilities – HSE Engineer
- Conduct daily safety inspections and report unsafe acts/conditions.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and worker safety inductions.
- Monitor PPE and work-permit compliance.
- Assist in JSA, risk assessments and safety audits.
- Maintain daily/monthly HSE reports and records.
- Follow up on safety observations and corrective actions.
- Support incident investigations and emergency drills.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety / HSE / Environmental Safety preferred.
- NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification will be an added advantage.

Experience Required 5–15 years of relevant experience in HSE/Safety, preferably in:

- Ground Mounted Solar Projects
- Solar EPC
- Renewable Energy
- Power Projects
- Infrastructure & Construction
- Large-scale EPC Projects
