Job Position: Data Annotation Specialist Biology (AI & LLM Projects)

Role Overview As a Data Annotation Specialist, you will apply your Biology expertise to support the development and evaluation of advanced Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models. Your work will help improve the scientific accuracy, reasoning, consistency, and overall performance of next-generation AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Annotate, review, and validate Biology-related datasets for AI and LLM training.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for biological accuracy, scientific reasoning, and technical correctness.
- Create, refine, and review prompts to enhance AI model performance.
- Apply Biology expertise to solve annotation and AI model evaluation tasks.
- Ensure annotations meet required standards for accuracy, consistency, and quality.




- Follow project guidelines and complete assigned tasks within specified timelines.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve AI-generated outputs.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle project data responsibly.
- Adapt to new AI tools, workflows, and annotation guidelines as required.

Preferred Profile

- Ph.D. in Biology, Pursuing or Completed
- Strong academic knowledge and understanding of Biology concepts.
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Large Language Models.
- Excellent analytical thinking, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
- Comfortable working as an Independent Contractor on a task-based model.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with web-based tools.
- Willingness to learn and work with emerging AI technologies.

Added Advantage

- Experience in Data Annotation projects.
- Exposure to LLMs or Generative AI.
- Knowledge of Prompt Engineering or AI model evaluation.
- Research publications or academic research experience.
- Experience in biological content review, scientific writing, or question/problem creation.
- Background in related biological disciplines such as Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry.
