Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HMIS Expert with 6-10 years of experience in Digital Health, Health Management Information Systems (HMIS), software testing, database management, and healthcare technology implementations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the implementation, monitoring, enhancement, and support of HMIS platforms while ensuring data quality, system reliability, and alignment with digital health initiatives. The candidate should possess solid SQL skills, software testing expertise, and the ability to leverage AI tools and Microsoft Office applications to improve operational efficiency and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

HMIS Implementation & Management

- Manage the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of HMIS platforms.
- Support healthcare facilities and stakeholders in effective utilization of HMIS solutions.
- Monitor system performance, data quality, and user adoption.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards, policies, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors, developers, and project teams for system enhancements and issue resolution.

Digital Health Initiatives
- Support digital health transformation projects and healthcare technology programs.
- Participate in the integration of HMIS with other health information systems and digital platforms.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of digital health solutions aimed at improving healthcare delivery.
- Assist in promoting data-driven decision-making through effective use of healthcare information systems.

SQL & Data Management
- Develop and execute SQL queries for data extraction, validation, analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple databases.




- Perform data quality assessments and identify discrepancies.
- Generate analytical reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Software Testing & Quality Assurance
- Prepare test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for HMIS applications.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track defects to resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to validate fixes and improvements.
- Ensure software releases meet business and technical requirements.

Reporting & Documentation
- Develop project reports, system documentation, user manuals, and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare presentations, dashboards, and management reports using Microsoft Office tools.
- Document enhancement requests, change requirements, and testing outcomes.
- Maintain records of system performance and operational metrics.

Stakeholder Coordination & Support
- Liaise with healthcare providers, government agencies, project teams, and technology partners.
- Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical and operational issues.
- Gather user feedback and recommend system improvements.
