Position: Head – Quality & Testing

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline

Experience: 15+ Years

Salary: Hike on Last Drawn Salary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead and manage Quality & Testing activities across all three transformer manufacturing plants.
- Establish and monitor quality standards for transformer manufacturing, inspection, and testing.
- Handle routine, type, and special testing of transformers as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, IS/IEC standards, customer specifications, and quality requirements.
- Monitor incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
- Lead RCA, CAPA, NCR, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Handle customer inspections, third-party inspections, and quality audits.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Service, Stores, Purchase,



and other departments.
- Monitor rejection, rework, quality KPIs, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead, guide, and develop Quality & Testing teams across all plants.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

- 15+ years of relevant experience in Transformer Quality & Testing.
- Transformer industry experience is mandatory.
- Robust knowledge of Power / Distribution Transformer manufacturing and testing.
- Experience in handling Quality & Testing teams and multi-plant operations.
- Strong knowledge of IS/IEC standards and customer quality requirements.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, coordination, and decision-making skills.
