Role Description The Head of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across BillionEdge’s portfolio companies and internal teams. This role involves designing and optimizing processes, implementing operational frameworks, and ensuring effective coordination among product, technology, finance, and business teams.

The Head of Operations will monitor performance metrics, manage budgets, and drive operational efficiency to support scalable growth. They will also lead cross-functional projects, establish standard operating procedures, and ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.



In addition, the role includes mentoring operational staff, managing vendor and partner relationships, and contributing to strategic planning and execution with the leadership team.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in operations management, including process design, workflow optimization, and performance measurement.
- Robust leadership and people management skills, with experience building and guiding cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to support multi-business portfolios.
- Ability to manage complex projects and initiatives, with solid skills in project management, prioritization, and risk mitigation.
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making, including experience using dashboards, analytics, and KPIs to improve operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Background in technology-driven businesses, digital platforms, or consumer solutions is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the needs of growing startups and emerging ventures.
