Role Description The Hardware Engineer will work full time on-site at the Chennai location, collaborating closely with the R&D; team to design, develop, and test hardware solutions for industrial automation and IoT products. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing circuit designs, selecting hardware components, developing prototypes, and performing validation and debugging of electronics hardware.
The role involves documenting hardware specifications, working with cross-functional teams (including firmware and software engineers) to ensure seamless integration,
and supporting production and field teams with hardware-related issues.
The Hardware
Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and provide technical input for new product development and customer-specific projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Hardware Development and general Hardware engineering for industrial and IoT applications.
- Candidates should possess solid Circuit Design and Electronics Hardware Design skills for creating reliable, cost-effective solutions.
- Candidates should possess foundational Computer Hardware knowledge to ensure effective integration with embedded and control systems.
- Experience with embedded systems, PCB design tools, and electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, standards, and documentation, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Comfort working in an on-site industrial environment, with effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
