Role Purpose The GET – Flying Operations will be part of BonV Aero's Customer Success team and will be responsiblefor the secure operation, deployment, maintenance and after-sales support of BonV UAV systems atcustomer locations.
The role is highly field-oriented and requires the individual to develop strong capabilities across UAVflying, system setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repair, customer training andfield deployment.
The GET will undergo structured technical and flying training before progressively taking independentresponsibility for customer deployments and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
1. UAV Flying Operations
Operate BonV UAV platforms during internal testing and customer operations.
Conduct pre-flight, flight and post-flight activities as per approved SOPs.
Perform manual and autonomous flight operations as required.
Conduct payload flights and operational missions within defined system limitations.
Support demonstrations, trials, ATPs and customer acceptance activities.
Maintain flight discipline and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
Conduct regular practice flights to maintain flying proficiency.
2. Field Deployment
Be available for deployment to customer locations across India, including remote, high-altitude andchallenging terrain.
Responsibilities include
System packing and deployment preparation.
Installation and assembly at customer locations.
Site assessment and operational preparation.
System configuration and commissioning.
Pre-deployment functional checks.

Customer demonstrations and trials.
ATP/acceptance activities.
Operational flying support.
Decommissioning, packing and return logistics.
The candidate must be comfortable with frequent travel and extended field deployments dependingon operational requirements.
3. After-Sales Support
Act as a frontline technical representative of BonV at customer locations.
Attend customer-reported technical issues.
Perform initial diagnosis and troubleshooting.
Provide remote and on-site technical support.
Coordinate complex technical issues with Integration, Engineering and Software teams.
Maintain ownership of assigned customer issues until resolution.
Provide customers with clear updates on issue status and expected resolution.
Ensure customer systems remain operational and serviceable.
4. UAV Maintenance & Repair
Develop hands-on capability in:
Preventive maintenance.
Corrective maintenance.
UAV inspection.
Propulsion system inspection.
Motor and propeller replacement.
Electrical and wiring inspection.
Connector and harness inspection.
Battery inspection and management.
Payload integration checks.
Communication system checks.
GPS/GNSS and navigation-system checks.
Flight controller and sensor checks.
Firmware/software configuration.
Replacement of field-replaceable components.
Post-repair functional testing and validation flights.
All maintenance and repairs must be properly documented and performed as per approved OEMprocedures.
5. Troubleshooting & Technical Diagnosis
Develop the ability to systematically troubleshoot issues related to:
Flight behaviour.
Navigation.
GPS/GNSS.
Communication/radio links.
Ground Control Station.

Batteries and power systems.
Motors/ESCs/propulsion.
Payload systems.
Sensors and calibration.
Software/configuration.
Mechanical components.
The GET must learn to differentiate between operator error, configuration issues, component failureand system-level technical issues before escalating them.
6. AMC & Preventive Maintenance
Support execution of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and scheduled maintenance activities.
Responsibilities include
AMC planning and preparation.
System health checks.
Preventive maintenance.
Replacement of identified components.
Software/firmware checks.
Functional testing.
Validation flights.
AMC documentation.
Customer acknowledgement and closure.
7. Customer Training
Support training of customer pilots, co-pilots, operators and maintenance personnel.
Training may include
System familiarisation.
Assembly and setup.
Pre-flight procedures.
Flying operations.
Ground Control Station operations.
Battery handling.
Basic troubleshooting.
Preventive maintenance.
Safety procedures.
Post-flight procedures.
Progressively develop capability to independently conduct customer training programmes.
8. Field Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all assigned activities, including:
Flight logbooks.
Maintenance logbooks.

Daily activity reports.
Deployment reports.
Service reports.
AMC reports.
Training attendance.
System handover/takeover documents.
Incident reports.
Customer issue reports.
Component replacement records.
All field activities must be traceable through proper documentation.
9. Incident & Crash Support In the event of an operational incident:
Secure the system and associated components.
Record factual observations.
Preserve flight logs and available evidence.
Avoid unauthorised modification of the affected system.
Prepare preliminary incident documentation.
Coordinate with Engineering/Integration teams for investigation.
Support log analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Implement corrective actions recommended by the technical team.
10. Customer Relationship & Communication
As a field representative of BonV Aero, the GET will be expected to maintain professionalcommunication and conduct at customer locations.
The individual must
Communicate clearly and respectfully.
Provide concise operational updates.
Avoid making technical commitments without internal confirmation.
Escalate critical customer concerns promptly.
Maintain confidentiality regarding company technology and customer operations.
