Global Incident - Cyber Security ( Bilingual/ Japanese JLPT Certification)

About the Role
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Incident Planning and Readiness Analyst to support incident response readiness, cyber tabletop exercises, simulations, and security risk assessment initiatives. The role will work closely with cybersecurity, risk, incident response, and business teams to help strengthen organizational preparedness against evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of cybersecurity tabletop exercises, simulations, and incident response drills.
- Assist in developing realistic cyber incident scenarios, exercise injects, scripts, and supporting documentation.
- Research emerging cyber threats and threat intelligence to enhance exercise scenarios and readiness activities.
- Support readiness assessments to identify gaps in incident response plans, processes, and capabilities.
- Document exercise outcomes, observations, lessons learned, and improvement opportunities.
- Track remediation actions, timelines, and ownership following exercises and assessments.
- Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, presentations, and metrics for cybersecurity and senior stakeholders.
- Support the development and maintenance of incident response plans, playbooks, procedures, and readiness documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional security teams including Incident Response, Security Operations, Risk Management, Governance, and Threat Management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating lessons learned from incidents, exercises, and industry developments.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Incident Response, Threat Management, Security Operations, or a related area.
- Hands-on or working knowledge of cybersecurity incident response processes and security risk management.
- Experience supporting tabletop exercises, cyber simulations, security assessments, or incident readiness activities is preferred.
- Positive understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and MITRE ATT&CK.;
- Knowledge of common cyber threats, attack techniques, vulnerabilities, and incident response processes.
- Strong analytical, documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple activities, track action items, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, GCIH, GSEC, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience working in a global or multicultural organization is an advantage.
- Japanese language proficiency is much - JLPT certification - N1, N2,N3, N4.
Desired Skills
- Exposure to Incident Response and Digital Forensics.
- Knowledge of Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, or Security Governance.
- Basic understanding of cloud security, network security, application security, and AI security.
- Familiarity with SIEM, security monitoring, incident management, or security operations processes.
- Experience preparing security reports, risk assessments, dashboards, or executive presentations.
- Ability to translate technical cybersecurity findings into clear business-oriented insights.
- Language Requirement: Strong English communication skills are required. Japanese language proficiency and cultural familiarity would be an advantage where applicable.
