Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced GIS Analyst with strong expertise in Esri ArcGIS, ArcFM, spatial data management, geodatabase configuration, data migration, and GIS workflow analysis . The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to analyze requirements, migrate and validate spatial data, configure GIS systems, and support enterprise geospatial platform implementations.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze existing business processes and GIS workflows to identify system requirements.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into functional GIS specifications.
- Map data flows across departments and identify opportunities for workflow improvement.
- Clean, transform, validate, and migrate legacy spatial and tabular data into enterprise geodatabases.
- Configure GIS data models, domains, subtypes, topology rules, layers, and user views.
- Support integration of GIS with ERP, asset management, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
- Perform functional, system, and data validation testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and data-quality issues.
- Validate migrated data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Develop Python scripts to automate GIS workflows and data-processing activities.
- Prepare SOPs, technical documentation, process maps, and user guides.




- Conduct user training and support end users during system implementation and transition.
- Collaborate with GIS developers, architects, business analysts, and project teams to meet project timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Esri ArcGIS platform.
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online.
- Experience working with ArcFM / utility GIS environments.
- Strong knowledge of spatial data management and enterprise geodatabases.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
- Proficiency in Python for GIS automation and workflow development.
- Experience with GIS data migration, cleansing, transformation, and validation.
- Understanding of geodatabase design, topology, domains, subtypes, and data models.
- Experience integrating GIS with enterprise applications such as ERP, asset management, or CAD systems.
- Robust testing, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with utility/energy GIS projects.
- Experience with ArcFM Solution / ArcFM Designer.
- Knowledge of enterprise GIS architecture and data governance.
- Experience with ETL tools such as FME.
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
- Experience preparing SOPs and conducting end-user training.
