About the Role

Skills4 Group is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our growing technology team and help build our next generation of digital products.

Youll work on a greenfield CRM platform, data and KPI analytics tools, and AI-powered workflow solutions, taking ownership of features across both backend and frontend development.

Our core stack includes Python, FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL and Microsoft Azure, alongside modern AI technologies including Azure OpenAI, RAG, LangChain and LangGraph.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you'll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions and product direction rather than simply working through development tickets.

What You'll Be Doing

Full Stack & CRM Development

- Design, build and maintain our custom CRM using Python/FastAPI and React.
- Develop scalable REST APIs and event-driven services.
- Build reusable React components, dashboards and data-rich user interfaces.
- Design robust relational data models using PostgreSQL.
- Write and optimise SQL including joins, CTEs, window functions and complex queries.
- Manage schema changes and database migrations using Alembic.
- Identify and resolve database performance issues, including N+1 queries and inefficient query plans.

AI & LLM Development
- Integrate OpenAI and Azure OpenAI APIs into real product workflows.
- Build RAG pipelines for knowledge-grounded AI assistants.
- Develop agentic workflows using LangChain and LangGraph.
- Work with MCP (Model Context Protocol) to connect AI agents with internal tools and data.
- Evaluate LLM outputs and implement appropriate guardrails and monitoring.
- Help turn emerging AI capabilities into reliable,



production-ready features.

Data & Analytics
- Build pipelines to ingest, transform and expose data for analytics and reporting.
- Develop KPI dashboards that provide actionable business insights.
- Implement database best practices covering indexing, transactions, connection pooling and data integrity.
- Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data models and metrics.

Azure, DevOps & Delivery
- Deploy and manage applications using Microsoft Azure.
- Work with services including Azure App Service, Functions, Storage, Key Vault and Azure OpenAI.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar.
- Use Docker, Git and automated testing as part of your development workflow.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and technical discussions.

What We're Looking For You'll ideally have 3–5 years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on experience across several of the following:

Backend

- Python 3.10+
- FastAPI
- Pydantic
- Async programming
- REST API development

Frontend

- React
- TypeScript or modern JavaScript
- Redux, Zustand or similar state management
- Tailwind CSS or similar

Database

- PostgreSQL
- Relational database/schema design
- SQL optimisation
- Indexing and transactions
- Connection pooling
- Alembic/database migrations
- Strong DBMS fundamentals

AI / LLM

- OpenAI API and/or Azure OpenAI
- RAG pipelines
- LangChain
- LangGraph
- LLM evaluation and integration

Cloud & DevOps





- Microsoft Azure
- Git
- Docker
- CI/CD
- GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps
- Unit and integration testing

You should also have a working understanding of GDPR and data protection principles, particularly when developing systems that process personal data.

Nice to Have

It would be an advantage if you have experience with:

- MCP servers and agent-tool integration
- Snowflake or Azure SQL
- Power BI, Metabase, D3 or Recharts
- Celery or other background task processing
- CRM platforms
- HR-tech, EdTech or SaaS products
- Building AI functionality for production environments
