Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Transportation Manager to oversee, direct, and coordinate our daily transport operations. You will be responsible for managing fleet vehicles, optimizing delivery routes, supervising drivers, and ensuring complete compliance with transportation safety regulations.Key Responsibilities
- Fleet Management: Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, tracking, and maintaining transport vehicles.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule shifts for drivers, dispatchers, and support staff.
- Compliance & Safety: Monitor operations to ensure strict adherence to safety rules, transit codes, and government regulations.
- Cost Optimization: Evaluate budgets, track fuel/maintenance expenditures, and implement techniques to reduce operational costs.
