Job Role: Fiber Network O&M; Engineer

- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of OLT systems.
- Handle Fiber and FTTX feeder and distribution cable maintenance.
- Perform fiber splicing and OTDR testing.
- Conduct link budget calculations for fiber networks.
- Carry out OFC maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
- Manage and coordinate with OFC maintenance vendors and FRT vehicles.
- Perform aerial cable maintenance.
- Use fiber testing and maintenance equipment including:

- OTDR

- LSPM

- Cable Locator
- Perform Fiber Network Operations & Maintenance (O&M;).
- Handle O&M; activities for Transmission/IP Network equipment.
- Apply strong knowledge of fiber optics communication.
- Troubleshoot and maintain Transmission, DLC, and OLT equipment.
- Analyse network issues and implement appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with field teams and vendors for timely resolution of fiber network faults.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance and troubleshooting activities.




- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrate solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
