India

Grey Parrot Systems is looking for an experienced Freelance Salesforce CPQ & Field Service Lightning (FSL) Developer for a paid, project-based engagement — delivering high-quality, production-grade Salesforce CPQ and FSL solutions for our US client engagements.

About Grey Parrot Systems

Grey Parrot Systems is a women-owned, BEP-certified IT services firm headquartered in Naperville, IL. We partner with mid-market enterprises to deliver AI-first, governance-driven digital transformation. Our team of seasoned CIO/CTO practitioners works side-by-side with clients across retail, logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare — and we're growing.

About the Engagement

This is a paid, project-based freelance engagement for a Salesforce CPQ and FSL expert who can hit the ground running — no ramp-up time, no hand-holding. You know Salesforce CPQ and FSL deeply, you work independently with confidence, and you deliver clean, well-documented, production-ready solutions on time. You will work US-aligned hours from India, collaborating directly with GPARROT's delivery team and client stakeholders to deliver scoped project outcomes.

Competitive project-based compensation is offered — rate to be discussed based on scope and experience.

Must-Have Skills

- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience with deep CPQ and FSL specialization
- Robust hands-on Salesforce CPQ expertise:
- Product configuration, pricing rules, discount schedules, and quote templates
- Approval workflows, amendment and renewal processes, and guided selling
- CPQ data model — quote lines, product options, configuration attributes, and price books
- Strong hands-on Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) expertise:
- Work order management, service appointments, and scheduling policies
- Dispatcher console configuration and mobile app customization
- Resource management, service territories, and operating hours
- Strong Apex development — triggers,

classes, batch jobs, and asynchronous processing
- Lightning Web Components (LWC) — building custom UI components and Salesforce integrations
- REST / SOAP API integrations — connecting Salesforce CPQ and FSL with enterprise systems
- Salesforce DevOps — Salesforce DX, Git, Copado, or Gearset
- Ability to work independently — self-sufficient, deadline-driven, and delivery-focused
- Comfortable working US-aligned hours for overlap with client and delivery teams
- Strong written and oral English communication skills

What You'll Deliver

- Salesforce CPQ configurations and customizations — product catalog, pricing rules, quote templates, and approval workflows built to spec and fully tested
- Salesforce FSL implementations — work order management, scheduling configuration, dispatcher console setup, and mobile app customization
- Custom Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and Lightning Web Components extending CPQ and FSL functionality
- Salesforce integrations — REST / SOAP API connections between CPQ / FSL and enterprise systems
- Unit tests, technical documentation, and deployment runbooks for all delivered components
- Clean, well-structured code following Salesforce development best practices and governor limit awareness
- On-time delivery against agreed project scope, milestones, and acceptance criteria
