Mystery Monks is looking for experienced Freelance Creative Directors to lead video projects from brief to delivery. We are a video production and creative services agency handling the full range of video content for brands - from animated explainers and motion graphics to live-action shoots and corporate films.

We are a platform - projects come with standardised, pre-defined scopes and budgets.

For each new project, you'll be shown the scope, timeline, and budget upfront — and if it's a good fit, you can apply to it by sending a proposal.

Once selected, you'll have full access to MM Studio — our managed marketplace of vetted creators including writers, animators, designers, videographers, editors, voice actors, etc. Our team provides end-to-end support in helping you pick the right creators for each project, so you can focus on direction and delivery.

? The Kind of Work You'll Be Leading

Our projects span the full range of video production for business clients — from startups to established brands. Typical projects include:

- Explainer videos
- Product demo videos
- Brand and corporate films
- Social media content
- Training and onboarding videos

✅ What You Must Have

- Minimum 8 years of experience in video production, creative direction,



or a related role.
- Solid understanding of both animation and live action production processes.
- A creative eye with the ability to critique motion design, cinematography, and storytelling.
- Experience managing creative teams and production workflows.
- Clear, confident communication skills — with both clients and creators.
- Ability to drive execution across multiple moving parts without losing quality.

? Compensation

- Each project comes with a pre-defined scope and budget.
- You're shown the project details upfront and can choose to take it on.
- You assemble your team from MM Studio and pay creators based on the work done — your remuneration is the amount remaining after creator payments.
- All payments are processed within 4 business days of final client approval.
