FP&A; Analyst – Retail & FMCG | Urgent Hiring

Job Summary

We are urgently hiring experienced FP&A; Analysts with strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting, preferably with experience in the Retail and FMCG industry.

The ideal candidate should have solid financial and business acumen, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for business decision-making.

Experience & Qualification

MBA (Finance): 5+ years of relevant experience

CA: 2–3 years of relevant experience

Industry Experience: Retail / FMCG experience is preferred

Qualification: MBA (Finance) / CA

Key Responsibilities

Drive Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) activities for the business

Prepare annual budgets, operating plans, and periodic forecasts

Conduct detailed budget vs. actual variance analysis

Analyze sales, revenue, margins, costs, and profitability

Prepare financial and management reports for leadership

Analyze business performance and identify key trends and drivers





Develop financial models for business planning and decision support

Provide actionable insights to improve business and financial performance

Support management with strategic and operational decision-making

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Operations, Commercial, and Business teams

Support financial planning and performance analysis within the Retail/FMCG business environment

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience in FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting

Prior experience in Retail or FMCG is highly preferred

Strong understanding of revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, profitability, and business KPIs

Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to present financial insights clearly to senior management

Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
