nnRole Overview

nAs a Finance Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial accounting, reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, audits, and internal controls. You will partner closely with business leaders to build scalable finance processes, ensure compliance, and deliver timely financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

nThis is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys building efficient finance operations.

nnKey Responsibilities

nnLead end-to-end financial accounting and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

nEnsure timely closure of books with complete accuracy.

nOversee statutory, internal, and investor audits while ensuring full compliance.

nManage direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.

nDesign, implement, and strengthen internal financial controls and governance processes.

nPrepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, financial dashboards, and management reports.

nDrive finance process automation and ERP implementation/improvements.

nCoordinate with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and external stakeholders.

nSupport budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and working capital management.

nPartner with cross-functional teams including Business, Operations, Legal, and Leadership.

nLead, mentor,



and develop the finance team while establishing scalable processes.

nnRequired Qualifications

nnChartered Accountant (CA) – First Attempt.

nArticleship completed with a Big 4 or another reputed audit firm.

n7–10 years of post-qualification experience.

nExperience working in high-growth startups (preferably EdTech, SaaS, Consumer Tech, or Internet businesses).

nStrong understanding of Indian GAAP, IND AS, financial reporting, and consolidation.

nHands-on experience with ERP systems and finance automation projects.
