Job Summary

We are looking for a Finance Consultant for a one-month contract role to support and streamline our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Zoho Books, Zoho Payroll, and Zoho People , along with strong accounting and reconciliation skills.

The candidate should be capable of independently reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, and closing the books accurately within the contract period.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and review day-to-day accounting activities using Zoho Books .
- Handle payroll-related activities and records using Zoho Payroll .
- Manage employee-related information and processes through Zoho People .
- Perform bank, ledger, vendor, customer, payroll, and expense reconciliations .
- Review financial transactions and ensure accurate accounting entries.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, reimbursements, and outstanding balances.
- Ensure all financial transactions and supporting documents are properly recorded.
- Complete account reconciliation and independently close the books within the required timeline.
- Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Generate and review financial/MIS reports using Zoho and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ensure financial data is accurate, complete,



and up to date.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations wherever required.
- Support any additional finance-related requirements during the contract period.

Mandatory Requirements

- Minimum 6 months of experience in Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Zoho Books, Zoho Payroll, and Zoho People.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proven ability to reconcile accounts and close books independently .
- Good knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and expense management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within tight deadlines.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field .
- Additional accounting qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be proficient in Zoho applications, particularly Zoho Books, Zoho Payroll, and Zoho People , and should be able to quickly understand existing financial records, perform accurate reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and complete the book-closing process independently within the one-month engagement .
