Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Services Engineer role based in Thane.

The Field Services

Engineer will install, commission, and configure laboratory instruments and systems at customer locations, ensuring proper integration with existing lab infrastructure.

Responsibilities include performing troubleshooting and diagnostics, resolving technical issues, and providing timely technical support to maintain high equipment uptime. The role involves executing preventive maintenance schedules, performing routine inspections,



and documenting service activities and reports in line with company standards.

The Field Services

Engineer will collaborate closely with customers to deliver training on equipment usage, respond to service requests, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

- Strong Field Service experience, including in office installation, commissioning, and repair of laboratory or technical equipment.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support, with the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
- Hands-on Preventive Maintenance skills, including routine inspections, calibration, and documentation of service activities.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term client relationships.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related field).
- Familiarity with laboratory environments and basic understanding of analytical instruments or water and gas systems is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical manuals, interpret schematics, and follow safety and regulatory requirements.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required and work flexibly based on service needs.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, along with basic computer literacy for reporting and documentation.
