Job Role: Field Officer (Medical Representative)

- Promote the company’s pharmaceutical products to doctors, consultants, and chemists within the assigned territory.

- Generate prescriptions and achieve assigned sales targets.

- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors and retail chemists.

- Ensure adequate product availability and prevent stock-outs by personally booking orders.

- Implement sales and marketing strategies provided by management.

- Identify new markets, potential customers, and business opportunities within the territory.

- Expand the doctor base and increase prescription share.

- Manage relationships with stockists and C&F; agents.

- Monitor product availability, stock movement, and expiry management.

- Organize and participate in symposiums, seminars, doctors’ group meetings, Cycle Briefing Meets, and other company meetings.

- Use promotional materials and inputs effectively while promoting products.

- Maintain daily work schedules and submit required reports through the designated reporting system.

- Provide regular market feedback regarding company products and competitor products.

- Submit expense statements within the prescribed timelines.

- Follow company policies and ethical pharmaceutical promotion standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sales &

- Target Achievement:

- Achieve and consistently exceed the assigned Sales Budget and YPM (Yearly Performance Milestone).

- Conduct effective product promotion to generate prescription demand and secondary sales.

- Personally book orders to maintain sufficient stock levels.

- Monitor sales performance and work toward territory targets.

Doctor &

- Chemist Coverage

- Maintain a Doctor Call Average of 10+1 per day.

- Achieve minimum 95% MCR (Monthly Call Report) coverage.

- Complete a minimum of 5 chemist calls per day.

- Develop strong professional relationships with key doctors, consultants,



and retail chemists.

Market Development

- Execute management-designed sales and marketing strategies.

- Identify recent markets and customer opportunities.

- Expand the doctor network and improve prescription share.

- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Stockist &

- Distribution Management

- Maintain effective relationships with stockists and C&F; agents.

- Monitor product availability and stock movement.

- Ensure appropriate expiry management.

- Coordinate with distribution partners to maintain smooth product supply.

Promotional Activities

- Organize and conduct symposiums, seminars, and doctors’ group meetings.

- Participate actively in Cycle Briefing Meets and company meetings.

- Ensure effective utilization of promotional materials and inputs.

Reporting &

- Compliance

- Prepare and submit Daily Work Plans.

- Submit Daily Call Reports through the PHYZII reporting tool.

- Provide structured market feedback to the Product Management Team.

- Submit expense statements within the required timelines.

- Maintain compliance with company policies and ethical promotion standards.

Required Qualifications

- Education: B.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Pharm / M.Sc.

- Experience: Fresher.

- Age: Below 26 years.

- Location: Baroda.

- Compensation: INR 3,00,000 per year.
