Role - Exports Head

Qualification - B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience - 5 to 8 Years

Package - 8 LPA - 10 LPA

JOB PROFILE:

To lead and grow the company's export business, with a strong focus on the Africa region, by developing distributor networks, driving order acquisition and execution, and building the company's international reputation in the ginning, lint cleaner, spin press and allied cotton processing equipment industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

- Develop and execute the export sales strategy with primary focus on African markets, and identify opportunities in other emerging cotton-processing geographies.
- Identify, appoint, and manage a network of overseas distributors, dealers, and agents to expand market reach.
- Drive end-to-end order management for export customers - from enquiry and techno-commercial negotiation to order finalization, production coordination, dispatch, and after-sales follow-up.
- Manage export documentation, shipping and logistics coordination, letters of credit, INCOTERMS, and compliance with DGFT / customs / export regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with African ginners, cotton processors, and industry bodies to generate repeat and referral business.
- Track competitor activity, pricing trends,



and market intelligence across the Africa region to inform pricing and product strategy.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer-seller meets.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams to align export order specifications and delivery timelines.
- Prepare periodic export MIS, sales forecasts, and business development reports for management review.
- Ensure timely collection of export payments and manage currency/commercial risk in coordination with finance.

CANDIDATE PREFFERED:

- Ginning and cotton processing machinery manufacturing.
- Lint cleaner, spin press, or allied cotton equipment manufacturing.
- Capital equipment / industrial machinery exports to African or emerging markets.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Robust understanding of export documentation, INCOTERMS, and international trade compliance.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills across cultures.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including to African markets.
- Strong business acumen with a target-driven, entrepreneurial approach.
- Good communication skills in English; French or other regional language exposure is an advantage
