Job Location: Kolkata Near Tollygunj Phari, West Bengal

Experience: 5 years or above experience in ERP implementation or support, preferably in manufacturing or steel industry. Experience in process mapping and data migration projects.

Age: Under 45 years

Gender: Male only

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering or, Computer Science..

Salary: As per previous Experience & Negotiable

Job Summary The ERP Implementation Executive is responsible for supporting the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the companys Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system across departments such as Production, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Finance, Quality, Attendance, Vendor Management. The role bridges business processes and technology to ensure smooth and efficient operations in a steel manufacturing environment.

Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- ERP go-live success rate and adherence to timelines.
- User adoption and satisfaction levels.
- Reduction in manual processes and data errors.
- Quality and timeliness of reports generated.
- Post-implementation support response time.

Key Responsibilities: 1. ERP Implementation & Support

- Assist in planning, configuring, and testing ERP modules (Production, Inventory, Procurement, Sales, Quality, Finance, etc.).
- Work closely with department heads to map existing processes and align them with ERP functionalities.
- Support data migration from legacy systems to ERP, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and document results.




- Assist with go-live activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

2. User Training & Support

- Provide training and support to end-users across departments.
- Create and maintain user manuals, SOPs, and documentation for ERP processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day ERP issues reported by users.

3. Process Optimization

- Analyze manufacturing workflows (e.g., raw material input, furnace operations, rolling mill, dispatch) to identify automation or improvement opportunities within ERP.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure real-time data capture from shop-floor systems (e.g., weighing systems, PLCs, barcode scanners).

4. Coordination with Vendors / Developers

- Act as a liaison between the company and ERP vendors or consultants.
- Communicate business requirements clearly to technical teams for customization and enhancement.
- Monitor system performance and coordinate for upgrades or patches.

5. Reporting & Analytics

- Develop and maintain MIS and operational dashboards using ERP data.
- Generate reports on production efficiency, inventory movement, material consumption, and cost tracking.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, especially in the steel industry (rolling, dispatch, grn, fabrication, pipe production etc.).
- Knowledge of ERP modules such as Production Planning, Inventory, Procurement, Sales & Distribution, Finance, and Quality Control.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally Prime, or Infor LN (depending on company usage).
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and handle change management.
