QUALIFICATION - Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engg. with 2-3 yrs experience in Procurement
- Solid communication skills – verbal & written in English, Hindi and Gujarati
- Knowledge of machining activity to resolve related problems
- Quick learner; open to on-the-job training
- Proficiency in using MS-Excel
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supplier development – selection, evaluation and product approval
- Material ordering and follow-up
- New vendor development
- Coordination with purchase & planning team in Pune; visual inspection of raw materials at supplier end
