E-Commerce Sales Associate

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive E-Commerce Sales Associate to handle end-to-end pre-purchase customer interactions and convert customer queries into sales. The role will involve guiding customers on size, fit, products, styling and recommendations , along with active follow-up on abandoned carts and potential customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle pre-purchase customer queries through WhatsApp, calls, chat and other channels.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend the right product, size, fit and style
- Help customers choose products based on their body type, requirements, occasion and preferences.
- Provide explicit guidance on product features, usage, fit, fabric, sizing and benefits.
- Conduct abandoned cart calls and follow up with customers to understand objections and convert carts into orders.
- Follow up with interested customers who have shown purchase intent but have not completed the order.
- Identify customer concerns such as price, size confusion, product suitability, delivery or product selection and resolve them effectively.
- Cross-sell and recommend relevant complementary products wherever appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, customer requirements,



follow-ups and conversions.
- Coordinate with the CS, sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
- Proactively identify recurring customer questions and feedback and share insights with the team.
- Meet defined conversion, calling, follow-up and sales targets.

What We're Looking For

- 1+ year of experience in e-commerce sales, customer support, telesales or inside sales preferred.
- Excellent communication and convincing skills.
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and recommend the right product.
- Comfortable handling sales calls and follow-ups.
- Customer-first approach with a strong focus on conversion.
- Good understanding of WhatsApp, calling and basic CRM/order management tools.
- Experience with women's fashion, lingerie, shapewear, apparel or D2C brands will be an added advantage.
